Daryl K. Gallant, of Brighton, the assistant training director for the Michigan Laborers Training & Apprenticeship Institute, has been reappointed to represent the field of organized labor for a term beginning July 10, 2020 and ending Jan. 31, 2024.
Gallant holds a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Western Michigan University, and bachelor’s degrees in Labor Education and Construction Health and Safety from the George Meany Labor College.
The State Construction Code Commission was created to improve the quality of housing for Michigan residents while assisting the housing industry. The Commission appoints the members to the Building Officials Advisory Board.
These appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
