Fowlerville puts unbeaten record on the line in tonight’s football broadcast

Fowlerville’s football team is off to its best start in a decade, winning their first five games and going 3-0 in the CAAC Red Division.

As it turns out, Mason is off to the same fast start, and the teams meet tonight in Fowlerville’s homecoming game with first place in the division on the line.

The winner, besides taking over first place, also will automatically qualify for the football playoffs, which begin in four weeks.

For Fowlerville, tonight’s game is an important milestone, but also kicks off a stretch which sees them finish with St. Johns, Lansing Catholic, and Pinckney. St. Johns is 3-2, while the latter two teams are both 4-1.

I’ll have the play-by-play along with Bill Simmons starting at 6:45 p.m. You can click here for a link to the game.
