Sharing is caring!

The Livingston Faith and Race Project — a coalition of people from different faith traditions who promote love, respect and inclusion of all — is providing free signs to help businesses, churches, government offices and civic organization show that they welcome diversity and all people. The signs are designed to be posted near the front doors of buildings.

To get a sign, email livfaithandrace@gmail.com.

The effort aims to create a welcoming atmosphere in Livingston County for people of color. According to a release from the organization, Livingston County has 1/20th as many Black residents as the five counties surrounding it, and 1/20th per capita compared to Michigan and the U.S.
