The Glads kicked off the season last week at the prestigious Badgerette at Brighton High School, taking home second in the hip-hop competition. Senior Bekah Leonard took fifth place in the solo jazz competition.

Team members are Lauren Murray, Bekah Leonard, Aubrae Miller, Lottie Moorehouse, Makenna Usher, Hayley Olrich, Ava Yon, Gabby Shields. Cherise Owens, Carissa Owens, Lydia Luark, Stephanie Krueger, Claire Schwarz and Sydney Bush.

The season will continue in January for the FHS Dance Team, as it competes at events in Kenowa Hills on Jan. 11 and St. Johns on Jan. 25.

The team will also be spotlighted throughout the basketball season at Fowlerville High, performing at both girls’ and boys’ games. Upcoming performances will take place at halftime of games on Jan. 10, 14 and 24; Feb. 7 and 21; and March 3.
