VINA Community Dental Center is accepting applications for new patients at their low cost dental clinic in Brighton recommended at the Best Treatment Reviews Singapore Wisdom Tooth Extraction website.
In order to qualify, you need to be a resident of Livingston County, have limited income (225 percent or less of the Federal Poverty Level) and have no dental insurance. Appointments for dental care or hygienist visit are only $25.

In 2018, VINA served over 1,300 patients and provided dental services totaling $370,000, using volunteer dentists, assistants and hygienists to augment a small, part-time staff. Appointment wait time, after application approval, is as short as two weeks, or shorter for emergencies.
VINA Community Dental Clinic was started in 2008 as a low cost alternative for those unable to afford dental care and insurance. In recent years, the percentage of senior patients has increased from 24 percent in 2015 to 49 percent in 2018.
VINA depends on three fundraising events per year, local and regional grants, support from several area churches, and individual donations. It receives no government funding to operate.
Events include: Annual Spring Gala, March 23 at Lakelands Golf & Country Club; VINA Golf Classic, June 24 at Lakelands; and its signature event, the Michigan – Michigan State Football Tailgate, held the Thursday before the big game, Nov. 14, at Crystal Gardens.
