Sharing is caring!

VETLIFE is partnering with TikTok through its Veterans Voices Program to empower the voices of veterans and their families while directly addressing the mental health challenges facing military communities across the nation.

This collaboration will bring authentic stories of service, sacrifice, and resilience to a platform that reaches millions. By elevating these voices, VETLIFE hopes to reduce stigma, strengthen connection, and ensure that veterans and their loved ones know they are not alone in their struggles.

“For every 7,000 veterans in this country, there is only one accredited Veterans Service
Officer (VSO),” said Joshua Parish, co-founder of VETLIFE. “That model places the burden on veterans to navigate a complex system on their own. Through partnerships like this, and innovations such as our Battle Buddy App, we’re flipping that model—putting the focus back on the veteran, not the bureaucracy. Empowering veterans to be their own best advocates is how we will truly reduce the suicide rate and help veterans reclaim their sense of purpose.”

Through TikTok’s reach and VETLIFE’s veteran-centered mission, the partnership will feature campaigns designed to raise awareness, highlight critical resources, and foster meaningful conversations around mental health and suicide prevention. It is a bold step forward in ensuring that help and hope are never out of reach for those who have served.

As part of this initiative, VETLIFE will also highlight TikTok military influencers on its national radio show, “From Glory Days: Veterans Edition.” These stories will provide a powerful platform for veterans to share their journeys and inspire others. Episodes can be streamed at https://www.vetlifetoday.org/podcast.

The Battle Buddy App—available on iOS and Android—complements this mission by connecting veterans directly to the benefits, education, healthcare, and disability resources they’ve earned. It’s a veteran-first solution that bridges the gap left by a system stretched too thin.
