United Way celebrates community at annual event set for March 19

Livingston County United Way’s “Spirit of the Community” Breakfast and Annual Meeting is set for 7-9 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Howell. Doors will open at 7 a.m. for networking and breakfast, with the program beginning promptly at 7:30 a.m.

Outgoing LCUW Board President Katie Pikkarainen will host the meeting that will celebrate the efforts of the many businesses, community partners, agencies and programs that made changes in the lives of many local families. Strategic partnerships and collaborations will be highlighted in a fun, audience-engaging program.

Special volunteer recognitions will take place at the meeting as well, presented to local individuals, businesses and youth organizations for their outstanding service to the community.

The March 19 “Spirit of the Community” Annual Meeting will include a full buffet breakfast. Tickets are $28 with registrations requested by March 4. Reservations can be made at www.lcunitedway.org, call (810) 494-3000 or email lcuw@lcunitedway.org.
