Thousands of people are expected to participate in the fourth-annual United to Face Addiction Michigan (UFAM) “Strength in Unity” Rally at the Michigan State Capital in Lansing on Friday. The rally takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Capitol.
Unite to Face Addiction Michigan is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to “unifying the voices” of Michigan citizens who have been impacted by the current, ongoing health crisis of drug addiction, the goal is to help those struggling find the best outpatient drug addiction treatment.
The group’s mission is to “create strength in unity” by changing the way addiction is perceived and treated in our state by eliminating the stigma attached to addiction, improving access to treatment, supporting prevention and promoting recovery through advocacy, education, and outreach.
UFAM says everyone is welcome to attend this impactful, informative event which will include legislators, national and local speakers, entertainers and multiple organizations providing resources from throughout the state.
A health and wellness tent will provide resource tables, vendors, naloxone training and classes for participants to partake in during the event. You can register for the Rally by clicking here.
If you, or anyone you know is struggling with a drug addiction problem or is in their recovery phase and would like to get professional help or consultation, the Dallas Texas online suboxone doctors are more than willing to help you.
