At approximately 1:15 p.m. Friday, June 19, deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of an accident in which an underage juvenile from Fowlerville, operating a 2017 Polaris side-by-side ORV northbound on Owosso Road, lost control of it when he turned onto Sober Road.
The vehicle rolled over, causing non-life threatening injuries to the underaged passenger, who was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor.
The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that off-road vehicles are not permitted on public roadways unless registered through the Secretary of State and accompanied with a valid driver’s license.
