Two Men and a Truck, the national, full-service franchised moving company with more than 430 locations, celebrated a phenomenal year at its 2024 franchise conference in Orlando, Florida.

Alan Oversmith, owner of Two Men and a Truck Brighton, was a key contributor to these successes. Oversmith was presented the Humanitarian Award at the 2024 conference, recognizing him for performing the highest percentage of charity revenue based on total revenue for the year among Two Men and a Truck locations across the country. In 2023, Oversmith’s team donated a total of $32,576 toward charitable efforts. Through partnerships with different local nonprofits, Two Men and a Truck Brighton was able to help Habitat for Humanity Restore, LACASA Center, and Vetlife the most.

“I am honored to have been recognized for my successes last year,” said Oversmith. “I have worked diligently to make meaningful contributions to the community, and it feels good to celebrate our work with our fellow franchise owners. Reuniting with the Two Men and a Truck system to recognize these wins has been wonderful, and I’m returning to Brighton re-energized for even more great work in 2024.”

The Annual Conference, which brought together leaders from Two Men and a Truck, along with affiliate brands Two Men and a Truck and Merry Maids, recognized leaders across the company who have helped the company achieve its hot streak of success.

“Last year, we navigated the changing housing market, launched a new accounting platform and executed our most successful Movers for Moms campaign to date,” said Randy Shacka, president of Two Men and a Truck. “Our incredible franchise partners have been instrumental in these accomplishments, ensuring we achieve a 97% referral rate — a key indicator of the quality of service we provide with every move.”

Two Men and a Truck has proven its commitment to the communities it supports through nearly four decades of service, always Moving People Forward however and whenever possible. Oversmith’s work in 2023 was a celebrated part of this effort, and Two Men and a Truck is proud to recognize him alongside the countless other owners and Movers Who Care who inspired success last year.

Looking toward the remainder of 2024, the Two Men and a Truck brand is working to continue its expansion, broadening both its footprint and its impact on community members through exceptional service, give-back campaigns and one-of-a-kind opportunities.
