One day after reporting to jail to start serving a six-month sentence, disgraced former Livingston County District Court Judge Theresa Brennan is on the move.
WHMI is reporting that Brennan has been moved to another location outside the county, likely to help ensure her safety. Even though she was kept in a secure, separation location in the Livingston County Jail, there’s a chance she could have come into contact with people she had dealt with in court before.
Brennan is a convicted felon who is serving a six-month sentence after pleading guilty to a single charge of perjury in her divorce case. In exchange for the guilty plea, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel agreed to drop the other charges that could have landed Brennan in prison for up to 15 years.
Instead, she’ll only be serving 6 months and will be out by late July.
