Theis welcomes charter teacher of the year to her Lansing office

State Sen. Lana Theis, R-Brighton, welcomed Amy Dunlap, the 2022 Michigan Charter School Teacher of the Year, to her Lansing office on Wednesday.

Dunlap is director of family engagement, marketing, and legislative advocacy for Michigan International Prep and chair of the Michigan Chapter of the National Coalition for Public School Options.

Dunlap was at the Capitol for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s 2023 State of the State address and as part of National School Choice Week.
