State Rep. Lana Theis

As the Michigan House of Representatives returned to session on Sept. 5, state Rep. Lana Theis called the amount of information coming in regarding District Court Judge Theresa Brennan and her conduct on the bench “remarkable.”

“I want to assure the residents of Livingston County that I am working with our resolution drafters to ensure that the impeachment resolution is written thoroughly and within the guidelines of our state’s Constitution that allow for the impeachment process,” Theis said in a statement.

“While the resolution will not be ready for introduction this week, I do expect the resolution to be finalized in the next few weeks. Once finalized, the resolution will be submitted and available for the public through my office.”
