Howell archers can now lay claim to several national championships thanks to the archers who competed in the National Archery in the Schools Program Eastern Nationals Tournament, which was held May 11-13 in Kentucky. Several Howell Public Schools archers and teams traveled to Kentucky to compete.

At the tournament, Howell claimed national championships in the Centershot Bullseye, Centershot IBO-3-D, JRTOC Bullseye and JROTC IBO-3-D tournaments.

Tristan Stuart was also named the JROTC overall champion archer.
