Last week, we brought you the story of the devastating Hartland house fire that sent 8 members of the AJ and Lindsay Rowe family to the hospital, and claimed the lives of their two dogs.
The family members lost everything in the early morning fire on Monday, March 13, and they all have a long way to go to heal. But their journey has become a little easier now that they have a place to stay, a vehicle to drive, and a new puppy to love, all courtesy of John Cueter and Brighton Ford.
In an interview with WXYZ Detroit, Cueter said that he’s had success in business and in life and was inspired to help the Rowe family.
“It really is all about giving back,” he said in the interview, “(the) community rallying around people that have things come up. … If we could get our whole community to do that more, it would be awesome.”
Lindsay Rowe said that her family is feeling “so lucky and so blessed.”
“People keep asking if we will rebuild here still,” she said. “There is nowhere else in the world. This community is home forever.”
