The Hartland Players’ Encore Youth Theater performs “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” Dec. 6-8 at the Hartland Music Hall, 3619 Avon St.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids — probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem — and the fun — when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on. This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. A few favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs.

Bringing this story to life is our talented cast: Drake Whitehouse, Carmen Pushman, Addison Payne, Matthew White, Katie Bracco, Lauren Gates, Jayan Raju, Joslynn Perrine, Gabriella Sheets, Ryleigh Harris, Alayna Miller, Mikaela Robbins, Lana Zapata, Olivia Jagst, Evie Chamness, Karissa Szczechowicz, Audrey Moore, Mason Gay, Quinn Dunny, Hannah Morgan, Rownin Flanagan, Olivia Kolke, Tyler Atkin, Bailey Atkin, Ellery Shrier, Mary Ross, and Hailey Kolke.

The production team includes: Director-Karen Ellis, Producer-Jennifer Payne, and Student Director-Jaclyn Ellis.

Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. Tickets can be reserved at the Cromaine Library or purchased online at www.hartlandplayers.org. The ticket price is $8 for adults, and $6 for students and seniors.
