Heroes for Hope 5K, set for Sept. 21 in Fowlerville, will bring together runners, walkers, and community members in support of local young adults with disabilities and others facing disadvantages.

Participants can choose from several race options, including the Mighty 5K run, the Heroic Journey 5K walk, the Superhero Shuffle 1 Mile Fun Run, and the Virtual Valor Challenge for those who prefer to join remotely. The event promises fun and engaging activities for all age groups.

Torch 180’s Heroes for Hope 5K is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of community spirit and inclusivity. The funds raised will support Torch 180’s mission to provide vocational training and inclusive employment opportunities, empowering individuals with disabilities to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

“We are excited to bring the community together for a day of fun, fitness, and community,” said Rhonda Callahan, president of Torch 180. “Every participant and sponsor helps us continue our work, as we offer hope and transform lives.”

Companies and individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities can find more information on our event webpage.
