Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin announced today, Oct. 1, 2019, that she raised over $800,000 in the third fiscal quarter of the year for her re-election campaign in Michigan’s 8th congressional district. Slotkin has now raised over $2.1 million since launching her re-election campaign, and has over $1.65 million cash-on-hand.
Slotkin has been outspoken on the issues that matter most to Michiganders, including protecting patients with preexisting conditions, lowering the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, and providing safe and affordable drinking water to all Michiganders. Slotkin, who ran on a platform on increasing transparency and accountability in politics, has held dozens of public forums and town halls since she was sworn in on Jan. 3, 2019 –– and publishes her official schedule weekly, to keep constituents updated.
