The Livingston Post is teaming up with WHMI 93.5-FM for the final meeting of the two candidates in Livingston County’s hottest race, in which first-term 8th District U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Holly, is being challenged by Paul Junge, R-Brighton, who won the four-way Republican primary in August.

Submissions used to fashion questions for the forum were solicited from readers of the LivPo and listeners of WHMI.

The forum is to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no live audience for the event, which will be live-streamed on the LivPo’s Facebook page, and aired live on WHMI 93.5-FM. Jon King, WHMI’s news director, will moderate the event.

The 8th Congressional District includes all of Livingston and Ingham counties, and northern Oakland County.
