Sharing is caring!

The first edition of The Livingston Post’s newest venture — a political newsletter called The County Line — will land in subscriber inboxes on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

If you want to keep up on the county’s political scene, this newsletter is for you.

The County Line will be full of the political news, insights and opinion for which The Livingston Post is well known. The majority of the content will be produced by Maria Stuart and Buddy Moorehouse, who have a combined 65+ years of experience in covering Livingston County.

Some of the content in the newsletter will be available free to anyone who signs up; you can also subscribe to The County Line for just five bucks a month, which is about the cost of a cup of fancy coffee. An annual subscription is even cheaper — just $50 a year. You can rest assured that your payments are securely processed by the experts at Stripe.

Free subscriptions get you access to a good deal of our content. An annual subscription makes available to you our free content, our subscriber-only content, and access to the archives. If you want to support our work in a larger way, you can become a Founding Member, which carries all the perks of a paid subscription and gets you one of our cool coffee mugs, too.

Signing up means you won’t have to scroll through endless feeds to find the local stories that matter most to you, and you’ll be able to participate in discussions on posts, free of the rancor that has come to dominate social media sites.

Perhaps most importantly, if you choose to subscribe, you are helping to support independent community journalism.
