Sheriff’s Office seeks info on Hartland hit-and-run that injured pedestrian

A 63-year-old Hartland resident is hospitalized with serious injuries at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor after being struck by an unknown vehicle on Cundy Road at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10.

According to a release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian was walking near the edge of the roadway against the flow of traffic on Cundy Road near Maxfield Road in Hartland Township when they were struck by an unknown vehicle heading east.

The vehicle did not stop after hitting the pedestrian.

A person who did not witness the accident stopped to help the pedestrian, who was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor with serious injuries.
