Basketball Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal, founder of Big Chicken, is coming to visit the Hartland location on Friday, Sept. 27. The restaurant opened in August.
“We’re excited to welcome our founder himself, Shaquille O’Neal, who will be making an appearance at our Hartland location,” said owner Hafaid Gobah in a Facebook post.
Big Chicken — located at 10490 Highland Road, on the south side of M-59 and east of US Highway 23 — is part of a 20-unit development agreement to open locations across Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Flint, Saginaw and Mount Pleasant, by H&D Group Investments.
No details about when O’Neal will be in Hartland’s newest eatery are available at this time. Gobah said more details will be posted to his Facebook page.
