A listening session to help decide how best to use the $4 million coming to Livingston County as part of Michigan’s historic $800 million opioid settlement is scheduled for Thursday at 2|42 Community Church, located at 7526 Grand River Ave., in Brighton.

The Opioid Advisory Commission is hosting the Community Voices Listening Session to capture the thoughts, opinions and stories of residents.

The session set for 9-11 a.m. is for professionals and community leaders; the noon to 3 p.m. session will be to collect community stories.

It was just about a year ago that Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel came to Livingston County to announce the distribution. CLICK HERE for that story.
