Roger Deaton rolls to easy win over Daniel Schifko in 6th District GOP commissioner primary

Roger Deaton scored an easy win over Daniel Schifko in the 6th District Republican primary for the Livingston County Board of Commissioners. The district covers parts of Brighton, Genoa and Oceola townships.

With much of the vote in, Deaton picked up 70 percent of the vote to Schifko’s 30 percent.

Deaton now moves on to face Democrat C. Lorrie McMahon in November.
