The Liv Co Road Rally features a county-wide scavenger hunt during which participants chase clues written by Brighton’s Puzzled Escape along a course of pit stops, ultimately ending at the finish line at Crystal Gardens in Howell.
This family friendly event raises money to fund scholarships for 2019 Livingston County high school graduates pursuing careers featured on Michigan’s HOT 50 Jobs list. The $20 registration fee includes prizes, awards, and refreshments at the finish line event that starts immediately after the road rally ends (8 p.m. at Crystal Gardens).
Last year, four Livingston County students received scholarship money from the Championing Futures Road Rally. This year’s Liv Co Road Rally is looking to reach even more students to prepare them for jobs in demand.
Registration starts at 4:30 p.m. with Hartland Insurance waving the event-starting flag at 5:30 p.m.
Livingston County graduating seniors can check out the scholarship online at www.lccan.org/road-rally. For more information on Michigan’s HOT 50 jobs, visit http://milmi.org/research/category/michigans-hot-50-jobs.
