Report: Feds raid home in Hartland, thwart plot to kidnap Whitmer

The raid took place at the Hartland Meadows development in Hartland Township.

The FBI raided a Hartland Township home Wednesday, according to The Detroit News, which is reporting that the feds thwarted a plot to kidnap Whitmer.

The conspiracy reportedly involved at least six people, including Ty Garbin, 24, whose home it was that agents raided.

According to WXYZ.com, the FBI and Michigan State Police carried out the raid Wednesday night, which continued into the early morning hours of Thursday, at the home on Lansing Avenue in Hartland Meadows near M-59.

On scene, according to WXYZ.com, were several MSP vehicles and its SWAT team, as well as FBI agents. Some of the officers were dressed in camo and carrying guns.
