State Rep. Jennifer Conlin is among five Michigan House Democrats being targeted with recall efforts for their votes on recent red flag and hate crimes legislation, Gongwer is reporting.
Conlin of Ann Arbor — who represents Michigan’s 48th state House District, which includes Hamburg and Genoa townships, as well as northern Washtenaw County and a few precincts of the City of Ann Arbor — had a petition filed against her for voting for HB 4474, which seeks to expand what constitutes as a hate crime in Michigan.
The petition against Conlin was submitted by Linda Ensley of Brighton.
