Ramaswamy headlining local GOP’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner

Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who suspended his presidential primary campaign in January after finishing fourth in Iowa, is headlining the Livingston County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner.

Former President Donald Trump said he ruled Ramaswamy out as his running mate, but will consider the founder of pharmaceutical company Roivant Sciences for a cabinet position like Homeland Security.

Also speaking at the Lincoln Day Dinner will be Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, the new chair of the Michigan Republican Party. Music will be provided by Lady Liberty and The Patriots.

The annual dinner is set for 6-9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center, 5768 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell.

General event tickets are $80 per person. Limited private VIP reception tickets with special guests and speakers are $100. Students 14-23 can get general admission tickets for $45.
