The Howell High School Performing Arts Department is presenting D.W. Gregory’s acclaimed play “Radium Girls,” with performances set for 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, and Saturday, Nov. 5, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Rod Bushey Performing Arts Center. 2. How did you get involved with the production?
I got involved in community theater in middle school and decided to continue doing shows in high school. I did two black boxes my freshman year and have continued doing productions since.
3. Have you been in any other theatrical productions? If so, what roles did you play?
I did theatre all through middle school so I’ve been in quite a few shows. Most recently I was Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Agnes in The Shadow Box.
4. What do you most enjoy about being part of the production?
I love all the amazing cast and crew who make each rehearsal so much fun.
5. Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why?
My mom is a huge inspiration of mine. She has worked super hard all her life and has always been super supportive of me and everything I’ve wanted to do.
6. What’s your favorite part of the experience of being in the production?
I love getting to act as a real person in a real story. I think it is an extremely powerful story and I love making it come to life.
7. What can audience members expect when they see the show?
Two very different sides of a beautifully sad story.
