So Puzzled Puzzle Company is celebrating the release of its first series of puzzles in a public event set for 4:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Brewery Becker, 500 W. Main St. in downtown Brighton.

“We are really excited to meet area puzzlers and celebrate the launch of our first puzzle line.” said Jenny Rasmussen, co-founder of So Puzzled Puzzle.

The company’s puzzles will be available for sale at the event and will be given away as door prizes. Each puzzle design will also be available for guests to try out during the party.

In addition to Brewery Becker’s standard fare, charcuterie boards from Brighton’s Culture Beer and Cheese, and Michigan-shaped cookies from Howell’s Cakes By Lynn will be available.

“Our goal is to elevate Michigan and Michiganders, so of course we included nods to local business in our puzzles,” Rasmussen said. “The cookies in the Oh MI Cookies! puzzle, for example, were baked by local cottage baker Cakes by Lynn, and the towel under the cookies is from Culture Beer and Cheese. If you look at the mug on the right of the puzzle, you can see that it’s a 2 Dandelions Bookshop mug.”

A Facebook event for the party is available here.
