A location of the wildly popular Nothing Bundt Cakes is coming to Brighton.
“My wife and I are excited to announce we’re opening a Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in Brighton,” said franchise owner Jerry Yurgo. “We hope to be open before the holidays.”
Until then, Nothing Bundt Cakes lovers will have to visit nearby stores in Novi, East Lansing, Canton or Ann Arbor to get their fill of the specialty cakes in flavors like white chocolate raspberry, lemon, cookies and cream, snickerdoodle and confetti.
The Brighton store will be located at 9864 E. Grand River Ave., Suite 130, in the shopping center on Grand River Avenue that is anchored by Busch’s Fresh Food. One of its neighbors will be Crumbl Cookies, which opened in February.
Nothing Bundt Cakes, which boasts being the nation’s largest specialty cake company, has over 500 bakeries across the U.S. and Canada, and offers what it calls a “delectable, luxury product at an affordable price.”
The bakery’s current seasonal flavor is Pumpkin Spice. And why there are no suger- or egg-free, or key cakes, always on the menu is the gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, and the dairy-free carrot cake.
The bakeries also offer a wide selection of retail items, including party supplies, décor and gifts.
The company was founded by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in their Las Vegas home kitchens.
