No-Shave November nets over $6K for cancer center

The Warren R. and Lauraine A. Hoensheid Cancer Center at St. Joseph Mercy Brighton was presented with a check for $6,300 in “No Shave November” funds on Dec. 4, 2019.

Sixty-three participants in the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office paid $50 each to not shave in November, and the money raised was matched dollar-for-dollar by Williams Distributing.

In December, no-shaving payments will be matched dollar-for-dollar by AAA Service Network. These funds will be donated to Livingston County United Way.
