Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 6:33 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, when a  50-year-old Flint resident, riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound in the left lane on U.S. 23 near White Lake Road, was unable to stop when traffic stopped suddenly in front of him. He rear-ended a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by a 26-year-old Flushing resident.

The motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries and was transported to Genysys Hospital by Livingston County Ambulance. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by Fenton City Fire Department and Livingston County Ambulance.
