Melon Festival celebrates 100 years with fun-packed weekend

The 64th Howell Melon Festival returns to Downtown Howell this Aug. 15-18, and we’re celebrating 100 years of the Howell Melon, the delicious local treat the festival is inspired by!

The fun kicks off Thursday, Aug. 15, with the grand opening of this year’s festival tent. Enjoy live music, delicious food and beverages from the Festival Tent, and a night of trivia!

On Friday, Aug. 16, the Howell Melon Run returns to Downtown Howell alongside delicious melon ice cream, food trucks, and delicious beer and wine at the Festival Tent.

On Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 17-18, the festival kicks into full gear with the return of the vendor show, Fast Action RC racing, concerts at the Bank of Ann Arbor Mainstage (Saturday only), and much, much more!
