“Rock of Ages: Teen Edition” takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical features the hits of bands including Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister and others.

2. How did you get involved with the production?
I have been involved with the drama program for the majority of my high school career, and couldn’t help but audition for my senior year musical.
3. Have you been in any other theatrical productions? If so, what roles did you play?
Yes! I have always been attracted to the acting program. Most recently I played Titania in our schools production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” this past fall!
4. What do you most enjoy about being part of the production?
The sense of community and family I’ve found in this production. My role in this show has given me the opportunity to make new friendships, and I always have such a fun time in rehearsals.
5. Who is/are your inspiration(s)? Why?
My inspiration is Mrs. Malo, my drama teacher. She has helped me persevere through struggle and always values her student’s mental health first. I am forever thankful for her.
6. What’s your favorite part of the experience of being in the production?
I really appreciated our camp weekend. It’s a huge bonding experience and brings everyone in closer. I really valued that time where we could build off of each other and see everyone’s strengths.
7. What can audience members expect when they see the show?
A show full of energy, bright colors, loud music and love.
