Amanda Luethy lives in downtown Howell with her husband and four kids. In her free time, the stay-at-home-mom sings at church, knits, and runs. She has an undergraduate degree in linguistics and a master’s degree in Biblical studies.

How did you get involved with the Hartland Players and what shows have you been involved with in the past? What are some of your favorite roles from the past, either with the Hartland Players or other groups?
Luethy grew up in Hartland and participated in Encore and Hartland Players beginning in elementary school. She loved participating in “Joseph” with the Hartland Players about 10 years ago. Luethy has probably only done a show every five years in her adult life, but loves when she has the time to fit one in.

What do you most enjoy about doing shows with the Hartland Players?
Luethy loves being able to work with others who have a passion for theatre. It is so amazing for her to see a group of people who hardly know each other work together to accomplish something so magical.

What’s been your favorite part of the “Annie” experience?
Luethy has loved working with such talented people. From the first rehearsal, she was awestruck with how amazingly talented her fellow cast mates and directors were.

What can audience members expect when they see the show?
“This show will definitely tug at your heart strings,” Luethy said. “It is filled with great songs, amazing characters, adorable kids, and a cute puppy!”
