Following a nearly three-month closure because of the pandemic, one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Lansing has closed its doors for good.

The Los Tres Amigos location in downtown Lansing, 107 E. Allegan St., will not be reopening. A person answering the phone at another location confirmed the downtown location was closing for good. Located just one block from the Michigan State Capitol, it was always one of the most popular and packed restaurants in downtown Lansing, especially during legislative session days.

Los Tres Amigos has several other locations throughout Michigan, and most of them appear to still be open, including the Howell location at 4184 E. Grand River Ave., which is now open for indoor dining.
