The Livingston County Republican Party, along with a group called Protect Our Republic, is hosting an 8th District Republican Primary Candidate Forum on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center, 5768 E. Grand River Ave., Howell. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the forum gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
The five Republicans vying for the chance to take on Democrat U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin — Mike Detmer, Alan Hoover, Paul Junge, Kristina Lyke and Nikki Snyder — have all committed to attending.
