Local magician (and Green Oak firefighter) appearing in Frankenmuth over July 4th weekend

Magician Jonathon LaChance of Green Oak Township (who is also a firefighter and EMT with the Green Oak Township Fire Department) is appearing in Frankenmuth over July 4th weekend with his “Laugh Magic LIVE!” show.

Fresh off his appearance on the “Penn and Teller: Fool Us” show, which airs on the CW, LaChance is performing four hour-long shows at Fischer Hall, 613 S. Main St. in Frankenmuth. Shows are 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2, and Monday, July 3. Tickets are $15 for children, $20 for adults, and family four-packs are available for $60. The show is not recommended for children under 2.

In addition to appearing on “Penn and Teller: Fool Us,” LaChance has been seen on numerous national TV programs including “Masters of Illusion,” NBC’s “Today Show,” and on ABC and PBS.

LaChance headlines theaters and resorts across the country with his one-man magic show called “Laugh Magic LIVE!” He was also the winner of the Magic Close-up Classic in the Magic Capitol of the World, Colon, Mich. For the past several years, LaChance toured the country, showcasing his illusions and comedy magic with his show, “The Magic of Jonathon LaChance.”
