Two events in Livingston County honoring Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old mother of 3 who was shot dead Jan. 7 by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, are estimated to have drawn over 200 people.

The first event took place late Saturday morning at the historic Livingston County Courthouse, and the second was Sunday evening at the Brighton Millpond.

The two local events joined over 1,200 that took place throughout the United States, with attendance ranging from thousands in larger cities to dozens in smaller communities. In Michigan, multiple communities — including in larger cities, like Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, Detroit, and Lansing, and smaller communities, like Livingston County — drew modest crowds.
