Livingston Loves Lit: Are You Reading with Us?

Sharing is caring!

So, have you picked up our September/October pick,  “Gone Girl” yet? Have you started it? Finished it? I got it and finished it within a few days. If you haven’t started reading it yet, I have one suggestion for you or maybe warning: Do not read it before going to bed. It is hard to put down. I kept telling myself, “One more chapter. Just one more chapter.” Next thing I knew, it was after midnight.

I’ll start posting discussion topics toward the end of the month. There is so much to talk about and so much to be spoiled if we start discussing it too soon.

I’m interested in hearing what you think so far. Are you hooked yet? Is this the kind of book you would normally read or is it out of your reading comfort zone? If it’s out of your comfort zone, did that make you more or less inclined to check it out? One of the things I love about books clubs, virtual and otherwise, is being exposed to a wide variety of books that perhaps aren’t normally on my radar.

Please leave your thoughts in the comments and feel free to go here to participate in a “Gone,Girl” poll to determine the level of engagement this selection is providing.

Happy reading!
