Livingston ESA administrator leading statewide association

Stephanie Weese

Stephanie Weese, assistant superintendent for administrative services at Livingston ESA, is the new president of the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) board of directors; she is the first person from Livingston County to serve in that position.

Weese began her new position at MSBO’s annual business meeting on April 25, 2024, and she will serve as president in 2024-25. Weese, an MSBO-certified chief financial officer, and has been an active MSBO member since 2002.

“As a member driven association, MSBO supports members by sharing knowledge and best practices in the ever-evolving landscape of school business management,” said Weese. “I am honored to serve the membership as MSBO Board President and I pledge to work tirelessly to ensure that MSBO remains a valuable resource for all members, regardless of their experience or background.”

Weese has served as chair of the MSBO Intermediate School District Committee and the MSBO Bylaws and Resolutions Committee. She has presented at both MSBO’s Annual Conference and Association of School Business Officials International’s annual conference.

The nine-member MSBO board, which is elected on a statewide basis, oversees the operations of MSBO, which represents more than 4,000 school business officials (those who provide leadership in the business office, transportation, facilities, food service, human resources, and technology) and associate members.
