Livingston County reports 20th COVID death; number of confirmed cases rises to 362

The death toll in Livingston County from COVID-19 continues to rise: the number of residents who’ve died after contracting the virus hit 20 as of Tuesday, May 5, 2020.

The total number of confirmed cases reported by the Livingston County Health Department is now 362 — up 10 from the 352 cases reported on May 2. There are also 86 probably cases listed. In addition, LCHD data shows there are 69 current hospitalizations, as well as 216 reported recoveries, up 14 since May 2.

There are currently 44,397 total confirmed and related COVID-19 cases in Michigan; 448 of these are in Livingston County.
