Livingston County reports 19th COVID death; number of cases rises 11.75 percent in past week

The death toll in Livingston County from COVID-19 continues to rise: the number of residents who’ve died after contracting the virus hit 19 as of Saturday, May 2, 2020.

The total number of confirmed cases reported by the Livingston County Health Department is now 352 — up about 11.75 percent from the 315 cases reported on April 25. In addition, LCHD data shows there are 68 current hospitalizations, as well as 202 reported recoveries, which is up 12 recoveries in the past week.
