Every year the United Way Staff, Board of Directors, Donors, Sponsors, and Community Volunteers work together in a collective effort to positively change lives in our community. Livingston County United Way’s mission is to reinvest time, money, and resources into ensuring Livingston County has thriving families, successful youth, and that the health and wellness of all individuals in the community are met. Your choice to support our mission ensures that the struggling “ALICE” (Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed) individuals and families in our community get the assistance that is greatly needed. United Way invests your donations where the needs are the most pressing and impact is greatest.
Livingston County United Way is so proud of the support garnered this past year from corporations, private citizens, local businesses, organizations, and their employees that support our cause! This support has allowed our organization to continue to assist the over thirty programs, coalitions, and local partners within our county. All of which are held to high standards of fiscal responsibility and accountability of outcomes, while ensuring services are not duplicated.
Given the economic climate, Livingston County United Way, like many local not-for-profits, has faced a unique and challenging year around fundraising. However, with the support of all our donors we will be able to fund over $600,000 this upcoming year towards our local programs and coalitions! This funding is essential to many of our partner organizations to keep the services necessary to ensure Livingston County remains a wonderful place to work and live.
The staff and board of directors of Livingston County United Way wish to express how grateful we are for all the support from the community. We strive to be adaptable to change and always plan for long-term sustainability of the services we provide to this community.
