Minnesota is currently under a militarized federal occupation that threatens the safety of every resident. This month alone, ICE agents have killed one mother and shot a father in the leg. These agents are operating without judicial warrants, breaking into homes, and even snatching U.S. citizens off the streets in unmarked vans.
Gov. Tim Walz and local leaders have filed suit to stop this federal invasion, but they need our help. The threat to invoke the Insurrection Act is a clear attempt to bypass the Constitution and use the military as a tool of political retribution. This isn’t about immigration; it’s about state sovereignty and fundamental human rights.
I urge my neighbors to join me in calling our members of Congress to demand an end to this violence. We must decide our own future — not a federal government that uses terror to instill fear.
