The Livingston Educational Service Agency Board of Education is accepting letters of interest from community members to fill a vacancy on the board following the resignation of Trustee Eileen Jankowski, effective Feb. 1, 2025.
Jankowski has chosen to step down due to personal matters that require her full attention at this time.
“Eileen’s contributions to the Livingston Educational Service Agency have been invaluable,” said LESA Superintendent Michael Hubert. “Her compassion, commitment, and insight have left a lasting impact on our agency and the broader community. We fully support and respect her decision and are deeply grateful for her service.”
The board plans to interview candidates during a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. Ideally, the new board member will be appointed that same evening.
Interested applicants should submit letters of interest to be received by 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025.
Email submissions to Hubert at mike@livingstonesa.org, or by mail to Livingston Educational Service Agency, Attn: Dr. Michael Hubert, 1425 W. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843.
