Legislators honor Olympic medalist at state Capitol

Olympic medalist Myles Amine of Brighton was welcomed at the state Capitol on Sept. 29 by state Sen. Lana Theis and state Rep. Ann Bollin.

Amine, whocompeted at the University of Michigan, earned the nation of San Marino its first Olympic medal in freestyle wrestling at the recent Tokyo games. He is also the first Michigan Wolverine to earn an Olympic medal in freestyle wrestling.
