The Livingston County United Way was the beneficiary of the 2025 Corrigan Oil, Bank of Ann Arbor, and Sheriff Mike Murphy’s Golf Outing, held on Monday, Aug. 25. This year’s event raised a record-breaking $89,000 to support local families in need throughout Livingston County.
The annual golf outing brings together local businesses, civic leaders, and supporters with a shared dedication to helping neighbors through times of hardship.
“We are truly humbled and incredibly grateful for the generosity of Corrigan Oil, Bank of Ann Arbor, and Sheriff Mike Murphy,” said Carrie Newstead, executive director of the Livingston County United Way. “This amazing donation will have a direct and immediate impact on families in our community who rely on essential services and support. We are thankful to all who participated and helped make this event such a tremendous success.”
The funds raised directly support United Way programs focused on financial stability, emergency assistance, early childhood resources, and community well-being, ensuring that families facing difficulties receive the help they need.
Newstead said the Livingston County United Way extends heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and partners who made the event possible, as well as to Corrigan Oil, Bank of Ann Arbor, and Sheriff Mike Murphy for their continued commitment to strengthening the community.
