Lance Burton, other magicians set for event to help feed the needy

An enchanting evening of magic and wonder is set for the historic Earl Family barn in Howell Township from 5:30-10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6. The Earl Family barn, built in 1864, will be transformed into a captivating venue for what promises to be an unforgettable event to benefit the Earl Farm Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families in need of food assistance.

Headlining the evening will be none other than the esteemed Lance Burton, recognized as one of the top five master magicians of our time. Burton’s mesmerizing performances have captivated audiences worldwide, and his appearance at this event promises to be an extraordinary experience.

Joining Burton on stage will be a remarkable lineup of talented magicians, each specializing in a unique style of magic. From astonishing close-up magic to mind-boggling illusions, these amazing performers will leave audiences spellbound with their exceptional talents.

In addition to the captivating magic performances, attendees will have the chance to participate in the thrilling “$50,000 Keep it or Trade it” game show. With a real chance to win $50,000, this exhilarating game promises excitement and suspense for all participants.

Also performing throughout the evening will be The Detroit Circus Performers. Their dazzling circus style performers specialize in high flying aerial antics on fabric, fire eating, stilt walking and stilt acrobatics, juggling, feats of mind-bending strength and acrobalance. There will be no time to rest your eyes during this evening.

The event will also feature a Curiosity Barn filled with intriguing and unusual exhibits, a whimsical Balloon Launch, and a selection of fabulous Food Trucks offering a delectable array of culinary delights. Beer and wine enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of fine beverages.

For those eager to take home a piece of this magical evening, limited-edition prints of magic artwork will be available. Only 20 prints will be hand-signed and numbered by local artist Susan Pomininville.

The Earl Farm Foundation, a family-run organization, aims to assist our neighbors in need by providing lean, healthy beef from the farm to community organizations. Over the years, the Foundation has donated over 18,000 pounds of ground beef to local food pantries and organizations such as Bountiful Harvest, LACASA, SonRise Food Pantry, Family Impact Center, Active Faith, Torch 180, The Connection Youth Services,  and The Salvation Army.
